we just released our first demo and it can be found here www.dozetheband.com ...at the media section.. there are 4 songs..3 of them are quite "normal" stuff and one is a ballad...

so what i want you to do is to tell me what you think about them...are they too long, does vocals suck, are the guitars from assville, or is it just another crappy wannabe a superstar thing...OR if you like it, you can tell me that too :D but anywayz...tell me something...and listen to the songs!!

oh and if you have trouble finding or listening to the songs..they can also be found from here http://www.mikseri.net/artists/?id=53645

...ok some of you asked if english was the first language of the singer...well its not...and somehow i see you already kinda know that :D and we are a finnish band..sooo that should explain alot! But big thanx for all of you who have even bothered to listen to the songs!!! critisism is veryvery important to us!

Hey really not bad musically. I am wondering though, is English not a first language of the vocalist? Sounds a little off there in parts but overall it's some pretty good stuff. Nice job!

To be honest I only listened to one song because the style isn't too my taste. Musically it was really good, but the vocalist reminded me of the Rasmus guy so it really started to annoy me. Good though:)

Contemplation- Nice intro thing, a little too long if you get what I mean. It flows pretty well into the mellow part, the drums could be a little more varied through there. The next part sorta just seems boring-ish because it's all power chord stuff. At around 4:20, that cool little dark riff could be expanded more I think. Then it goes back into the chorus thing. I like that duh-deh-duh riff thing a hell of a lot though. I can see this being played on the radio though, vocals seemed to be lacking some emotion though...sorta monotone, but nice stuff.

For some reason, the verse on contmplation reminds me of Bonnie Tyler.

Umm... The vocals seem to be a little loud most of the time for my taste. Maybe it's just that I don't like the guys voice. No idea what he's saying most of the time, though. Was that guy right that asked if english was his first language? He sounds a little strange. He does a great job for the sound of the band, stylistically and he's hitting all the notes. He sounds really good on Last Symphony, but it's the enunciation is a little off. It's a little poppy for my taste, but overall, the music is pretty well written when it gets a little heavier, it's just the mellow parts are a little predictable.

Nice record quality, though. I'm really happy with the rest of it. Overall, 7/10, which is a great rating from me. I'm a moody, picky bastard.

Nice job.
