http://i42.photobucket.com/albums/e308/Maggotbrainz/Picture006.jpg My only cymbal at the moment...but I decide to just go for quality to start. This is my first set by the way, and I paid for this mostly through poker money. Yeah, I was on a roll.!

It's a Sonor 3003 kit in Caribbean blue/green, if you guys didn't already know, and I really love the finish. I've noticed that the tom was a little lower also, I wasn't sure if that was the way it was supposed to be, but my teacher didn't change any of my tom angles...just tuned it a bit and lowered the snare.
I really really love the kit, the new beats came yesterday....god they're so incredibly sexy. Mid 90's, kept in great condition...the kit's tuned fairly high, but I thought it sounded best that way...I'll mess around with it when I get some new heads.

Nice...I just got that kit in the mail last wednesday same color too. It is awsome with some new heads and some a customs. Good choice.

A Customs = over-rated. My opinion. Great cymbals, but there are plenty of other great choices out there, and brilliant finish sucks.

Yes. They're mid 90's, but very well maintained. I could've gotten some newish ones for the same price, but I really like the look of the 90's ones, and they sound incredible.

Nice set.
And omfg. That Flaming Lips poster is so hot. If they come within a state of here for their At War With The Mystics tour, I am buying tickets asap. Best band evar.

Agreed, but they're coming here for SXSW next week and there's no way in hell I'm going to get in. This makes me a VERY sad panda.

Nice looking set there! I don't know for sure but is your floor tom backwards? Also, consider moving your hi-hat stand a little further out and lining it up a little more with the bass pedal, it may help a little, maybe. ;)

points for Sonor, Im not crazy about the color. The hihats look like they could use some polish (unless thats the way they're supposed to look).

Well....I figure I can crash on a good ride...most people agree that a ride is probably more important than a crash.
Oh, and it sounds like the sex. Especially the new beats! :smash:
