Ok ladies and gents. This is the big one...the most important thread of all of your lives!
I'm making a snare (getting the parts from a local custom company) and i've decided on everything but a finish. (and hoops)
I'm going with 20 offset chrome tube lugs (10 on each side) and a Dunnet strainer/butt plate.
I'm doing the finish myself but i can't decide what to get...

These obviously aren't the exact colours but just pictures off google to use as a reference. Which would YOU guys choose?

the red would look cool and bright and what not. But the black looks the best, so go with the black, as it looks far superior to the others. The blue is ugly.

If the hardware is black, Id say the red finish FTW.
If the hardware is chrome, id say blue FTW.
If your kit is blackish, then go for matching with the black FTW.

I say Red sparkle. People probably won't vote for the blue because the blue kit looks horrid, and the black looks the best.
I just think red would go well with your kit, and my personal as well. :)

I'd go for the black sparkle man. I think that it will work the best with the colour of your kit.

you can just click "see poll results"
But I think they could all look good, depending on how well you did it...
A dark blue sparkle could look pretty tight.

Bright blue looks like hell on kits. I would recommend... probably a dark red sparkle, go along with the bass.

Honestly I'll say what I've said in every other similiar thread. I personally like the black sparkle, but at the end of the day, it's you playing it. I'm sure you'll come to a desicion on your own, I just don't think taking other peoples' opinions is a good idea, because it may throw you off of what you really want.

Red drums sound better than blue or black drums. This is based on a scientific study that never happened.

snares that aren't the same colour as your kit are the best.
but its got to be natural for wood snares
