Hey guys, great forum u have here.
This is the best picture I could find of my old Mapex Mars Pro.
I bought it new in 95 it must have been, sold it a couple of years ago.
It brings back tears thinking of all teh good times we've shared

Specs:

Drums:
Mapex Mars Pro
8" 10" 12" 14"
20" bass

Cymbals:
from the left
Paiste 302 ride, so crappy i used for special effects only ^^
Paiste Signature 22" power ride, awesome cymbal I miss it like hell.
Paiste 302 16" crash
Zildjian K 10" splash
Sabian Pro 16" Studio crash
And that last splash was something i borrowed atm, don't remember specs but think it was a paiste signature.

Now a brand new Mapex Pro M is beeing shipped to my adress as we speak.. Oh I can hardly wait :chug: :D

That's a nice looking kit! You're switching from Mars Pro to Pro M? I'm not that familiar with Mapex, but aren't those drums about on the same level?

JoonasP: I don't know actually.. My last Mapex was good, no dubt about that. But my next set is a completly different set-up and all maple + lot's of hw-updates. I'm hoping Pro M will be a quite nice and better experience :D

What made you sell it?

Yeah, now that I think about it, the standards in drum-making have gone way up in all that time. It's a higher quality set for sure, you have fun with it!

beaker 747, I had no band + I moved to an appartment. So i got no place where i could practice.. Sold it and bought me a Roland TD6, and now the neighbours are even complaining about the noise from them aswell :S
My guess is that the kick-pedal makes noise which goes right in the concrete floor, i'm thinking of getting a very soft kinda carpet or something to put under it.. might help..
The Pro M will be on tour and hopefully when we get a nice place to practice it'll be setup there.

Sry for my somewhat crappy english writing :P

You spell pretty good for a person from wherever you are. That sucks about the no bands too. E-kit too noisy? I don't believe it. Stupid neighbours

My neighbours made me stop completely, so I just changed my playing location. Those new neighbours love the noise :)
