I've been playing fro about 3 months, first set. So Yes I know the PDP kit, Pinstripes, ZBT's PDP pedals are below average equipment. Any suggestions about set-up, I was never told exactly what to do while setting up. BTW my small toms slanted so much because of the garbage mounting system... Its hard to find a clamp that is compatable with the tom as well... But like I said I'm not sure. Thanks

Wow that looks pretty nice for someone who has a pacific ez kit. those things can be a pain to setup right. Looks good man.

I'd flatten your tom a bit.

^^ Yeah, just flatten your rack tom a bit and you're good to go. Nice setup, everything seems to be within a comfortable reach.

Looks pretty good, just make sure it's still comfortable to play.

Just did, didnt even realize a difference, except for a tiny bit more reaching toward the tom, not uncomfortable i dont think, just because I'm not used to it. Thanks alot

its an PDP EZ correct? yeah the very low end PDP stuff gives you horrible mounts and etc. but looks good you managed well. nice stuff.

Looks good. Your left crash would be uncomfortable to me but it's all about preference.

In what way does it seem uncomfortable?

Get your pedals in more, they look too far apart.

Try that.

I have mine a little more to the right, closer to my small tom. I found it was easier to ride the cymbal with my right while having my left hand hit the snare because they weren't so close together. Like I said, it's all about preference.

Why don't you attach the clamp to the cymbal stand and hav the tom closer to the snare drum? that would seem intelligent wouldn't you think?:naughty:

You cant judge his pedals...everyone likes them different.
The rack tom is too flat for its height..if you can lower it do so. if not angle it slightly more...
you shouldn't go straight to a flat rack tom. slightly flatten it everytime you play so you get used to the change and dont do any damage.
