Snare Drum Picture, Opinions?

This is my first attempt at 'editing' a picture of my snare drum.
It's pretty bad but here it is anyway:

Uhm yeh, i was trying to make it so it was like, 'emerging from the shadows' lol, but yeh the photo was kinda bad quality anyways, i'll try again but i'm new to photoshop lol :p

Hey, do you do graphics for a living or just have photoshop & play around with it? Seems like you know what your talking about.

its prety cool for the first time, I have photoshop but never got around to it

Photoshop annoys me. The only thing I can do is draw stuff and blur things (and the like)
