Well your honesty is killing me
but Id rather have that
than your negetivity
And as you feel the powder running up your nose
you cant help but be amazed
you hit an all time low

So keep running, until you wanna return
Just remember that, if you mess with the flame
then you mess with the burn

Break these chains that hold me within
get power from demise drop the unwanted burden
And find the hidden door, and find the key
so you can find your way out of tragedy

Look at all the faces now look at the door leading outside
can you see the difference ones open
and the others got something to hide

My mind isnt in its rightful place
Its in overload, its more than I can take

Break these chains that hold me within
get power from demise drop the unwanted burden
And find the hidden door, and find the key
so you can find your way out of tragedy

Breakdown

Break these chains that hold me within
get power from demise drop the unwanted burden
And find the hidden door, and find the key
so you can find your way out of tragedy

then that again with this in the background

Ive never been struck by lightning
Iv never been caught up in a tornado
until I met you, Until I met you

I thought the following ideas were overused and boring:

1. your honesty is killing me
2. you hit an all time low
3. keep running until you want to return
4. mess with the flame, you're going to get burned
5. break these chains that hold me
6. find the hidden door, find the key
7. i've never been struck by lightning, or in a tornado, except when i met you.

It's pretty average writing. Journalesque.
Indifferent is probably the best word to sum up my feelings about this piece.
Maybe writing about something other than a relationship would spark more creativity. It's tough to put a fresh spin on this particular topic because it's been covered by basically anyone that ever wanted to be a writer.

That's what it seemed like at the time. Regardless of whether it's about relationships or addictions, I think my comment is still relevant.
