So.. this was done with a ****ty mic + audicity. [It kind of choked up a few times while recording.] It's suppoused to be a fast punk song.. it was basically recorded so my guitarist could get the flow of the song i wanted.. I had fun making this one. And for some reason.. my voice sounds kind of girly on it. =|

What do you think?

-----

A filthy double standard
every ****ing day
saving the children
with the charities you pay
You claim to go to church
then come home and beat
it's the same vicious cycle
every ****ing week

[Chorus]
Every ****ing day
I watch this ****
Escalade
A society of hypocrites
that drown themselves
in their bull****

You wear your badge proudly
to protect and serve
then beat up the citizens
more than they disserve

You sell your body
become a corner whore
spend the money on more drugs
not the kids you can't afford

[Chorus] x2

There is no hope.
There is no hope.
There is no hope.
There is no hope.

[Chorus] x2

The original draft was pretty humerous.. it had a line about fighting over cans of beans at super markets and stuff.. but then the tone got changed to be more serious.

Anyway.. the whole "come home and beat" wasn't meant to be anything sexual, honest =p

but if that's the way you want to interpret it. more power to ya

that was awful.

You sell your body
become a corner whore
spend the money on more drugs
not the kids you can't afford
What? or Why? even.

I really like the rushed-for-the-song 'hypocrites' in the chorus too.
The words are so corny and just off the scale-ly clichéd. And you shouldn't be singing.
Sorry wkd - it's not good.
