Frusciante was by far the best. looks like it was omar in his not very good on guitar days and i was a bit disapointed by flea.

I thought it was great. Actually, it's given me new respect for Flea.

Seriously, Flea's bits in that were class in my opinion. I liked most of the riffs. They just went on for too long.

I didn't so much watch it as I did just listen to it, but I liked it. They were a good trio.

First song was pretty awesome :o Fleas definitely got a lot of endurance! Frusciante rules to. Definitely coulda had better sound quality but it is over the internet.
I liked the second song a lot to once it got passed the first little bit.

As much as I love rhcp and tmv, that was just unlpeasant to listen to. Idk how to explain it, but it just seems like they were just trying to do complex stuff just for the sake of it, which really annoys me.

flea and frusciante were featured on a bunch of mars volta tracks (flea did bass for de-loused, and i believe john did solos on both de-loused and frances the mute), so them playing together isn't that unusual.

flea did all of deloused except for "televators." frusciante was featured in Cicatriz ESP off of deloused.

He Flea play trumpet on some of their stuff too?

Was a bit repetative, and I almost fell asleep the first 2 minutes. But I like the riffs and everything after that. Just a little too dressed up. I'm all for the 20 minute prog epic or something like that, this would just have to be streamlined.

I do like Flea's tone most of the time, though.

yeah on miranda this ghost just isn't holy anymore. and frusciante played on frances the mute also. im positive he played a few of the solos on L'Via

I didn't like the guitarist with the goofy clothes and glasses. He didn't seem all that good.

At about 4:30 or a little before somebody starts quoting Iommi's solo from "War Pigs."

Class, good stuff. And i'm not seeing how they tried to play as much complex stuff as they could. But eh, music is a opinionated subject.

his style is very strange, but you have to hear him in his main band where it fits in very well with everything. and his soloing on that video isn't as good as most of his other stuff either.

I have always said that flea is the best bass player in mainstream music and this just backs that up so much more. BTW thats the first time I have ever seen him play a pbass.
