it's ebay, it has plenty of time for the price to go way up and that buy it now isnt all that spectacular of a deal.

isint it? i havent seen the price on a basic modulus graphite bass in forever, but for it, a full nitro stack and a swr practice amp, with free transportation, it seem like a killer

I'm always wary of Ebay, but hell if this thing is for real, then by all means jump on it. Too bad I'm not within 200 miles of Georgia...

well, i'd just say that i wouldnt buy it. i dont like peavey bass amps and the modulus is very sketchy...

The Modulus bass looks very dodgy...Peavey make great amps but I'd still exercise caution here...

especially when modulus claims to never have known the model he claims it to be

The bass looks legit,it seems to be a modulus Flea bass without pickgaurd. (theres a good pic of one on the modulus home page).

I remember the Flea bass being a lot more rounded than that!

Looks like a Quantum body style. Perhaps he convinced modulus to sell him a Flea basses with a Quantum body?

Its probably not selling becuase of the shipping, he said he would only drive 200 miles or local pickup.

That looks like a pretty good deal, to me.

Looks legit to me. The old Flea bass didn't have a body contour and was pretty simple, and that's a 96 model if the serial number reads like my Quantum. My blue book only goes back to '97, so I can't give you a price.

The Peavey stuff really isn't that expensive anyway, and if you like the tone it's a pretty cool deal. I'd recommend it. But that sounds is definitely an aquired taste, play through a Peavey first.
