^^ditto that^^
My likeness for the ipod has gone down because all my friends' ipod's battery really sucks ***. I suggest you buy something else instead of having an ipod that only lasts 2 (instead of 12) hours till your next charge time. About your china... how trashy would you want it? Also, I suggest you don't splurge your money once you get it. I say you save up for a few months or w.e and then buy whatever.

Mmm... I would go with the gear first. Even though my iPod video kicks serious ***. I even figured out how to get movies on there. But yea, get a K heavy ride. That thing is secks. Then some new beats, and an oriental china. That sounds tasty!

chinas arent necesary at all, definately go after the hts then the ride first, id choose new heads over the china, especially if u still have stock cymbals, and id save the throne for last, but thats me

I have an Iaudio X5 and adore it...never had any problems with it. I've had it for 4 months or so, and have seen friend's ipods break in the time that mine hasn't even passed half battery...great battery life, good price, great features. The downsides are that you can't use any online music service (itunes Music store) music, but it plays the most formats of any Mp3 player....OGG, FLAC, Mp3(obviously) Mp4 video(no mp4 music) and some others that I forgot. It's somewhat hard to maneuver for people who have never seen the likes of it, as it has a small controlling stick...really easy if you own it.
Ride, Hats and heads should be at the top. If you have bad cymbals, you shouldn't be looking for a custom or maple snare yet.

These are your biggest priorities

it's ok bro, we all make our little mistakes. I made my biggest by buying the zxt rock pack =/ but I'm slowly replacing it.
to all those with good ipods, are you effing serious? your ipods acually last? How long do you listen to yours each day?

I listen to mine all day everyday and I have had it run out of batteries... ever. It lasted me an entire 16 hour road trip and then another hour in the hotel before I plugged it in when I went to sleep...
As to the threadstarter, go for the ride and the hats. Look at the A Custom Mastersounds... I love mine, but don't take my word for it, go out and listen to them and some others! :chug:

iPods suck. They're just the fancy looking ones with the best advertising, that's why they sell. They break, scratch easy, have **** battery life... It may not happen now but you wait and see.
My friends all have iPods and they've had cracked screens, totally scratched backs, frozeness, dead batteries.... I've lost faith in iPods.

hi-hats and ride easily. or your throne. depending on if its causing you health issues.
next to your throne. it would have to be hats and ride. or if your that depressed with your snare feel/sound, get the snare.
1: throne
2: snare / hats or ride, depending on which is more needed in your opinion.
3: anything else. the china cymbal being last on the list.

I've never had mine drop below half charge yet and I use it all day around campus between classes and such, from about 930 am till 6 pm or later. It is recharged within an hour too usually. The battery life on the videos is muh better than on the older models.

They look better and have better features. They do break...it's called a warranty. I've broken 2, I've gotten a brand new, higher quality model each time because of how technology progresses. The battery life on the older model I had was about 6 hours, but on the new one it's more around 12 it seems, I'm very impressed with the operation.
They just need to learn to treat their several hundred dollar toys decently. Mine's in my pocket all day and has one noticeable scratch.

With the ipods running out of battery, when did you guys charge them, when they were half? did you condition the battery?
and the gear: go for new ride and hats, then new skins, then consider snares and china's.

15" K Hats
22" Heavy Ride
20" Wuhan China

Get a new snare first. The snare is the most important part of the kit and having a good snare makes all the difference in the world.
After you get the snare then get the hats, ride, and heads. Buy the throne and china last. Try not to spend all your money though. Save some for a rainy day. :)

HHX Ev0 hats are great but maybe out of your price, so I'd go withe A new beats. A K ride wouldn;t be bad and for china get a wuhan or a paiste 2002. For snare get a pearl sensitone.
Get the snare first.

yeah i was definately leaning toward the gear...i cant stand any of my cyblas except my pst5 crash and my wuhan...so ill probably go with the ride and/or hi hats depending on how much money i have and how generous my parents will be...now that ive pretty much decided...i was looking at rides today and narrowed it down to three choices...22" paragon ride, 20" or 22" AAXmetalride(their about the same price) or a ping ride. The ride is definately number one on my list because the zbt ride blows harder than the hi hats...but if i were able to afford the hi hats im looking at either a mastersounds or aax stage hats...what do you think about the ride?

Ride: Paragon or ping
Hats: Mastersounds
But it's all your personal preference so :p The metal ride is notoriously un-versatile though.

hm weird...i listened to it on the sabian website and really liked it...i have a strange taste for rides that have little spread and a lot of ping
of course..."ping" ride would make sense...

If you like ping, get a 20" K heavy ride...

You might try the Sabian HH Rock Ride too. It's a great ride, very pingy, very clear. I love mine.
