What's the difference between the two?

i havn't heard of either tbh but from an educated guess on what legato is then :
legato slide - fretting each note and just work your way down/up the neck in legato style which is smooth and fluid and i think is normally where u play the first note and the rest is just hammered on or pulled off. remember nice and smooth
im then assuming that a shift slide is just a regular slide????? where u just slide ur finger/s up and down the neck whilst pressing down? but tbh i dont know
