Hey ho!

I tried the search function, all I got was a thread in which Quatre gets a bit of a schooling for his trbs :p

Anyone have any experiences with volume pedals? I need one for some cello style stuff I'm doing, and my current one is terrible (the one on the Boss GT6B) as all it does it make everything quiet (haha..shut up), and dampen my sound quite drastically.

At the moment I'm looking at the Boss 500H volume pedal, but any other suggestions would be good. I thought about the ernie ball, but the breakable string concerns me.

Critera: good sweep, noiseless, preferably true bypass when not in use, I don't want that bad boy colouring my sound!

I have the Boss FV-50H. If its still in production its a really good pedal. It has 2 inputs and 2 outputs that can be controled at the same time. It also has a tuner out and a knob to control the minimum volume.

Here it is

Ooh, checked out the alligator and vox, looked pretty neat.

Any reason why I should go for the FV 50 over the 500?

I'm leaning towards the boss at the moment as I can use it with my GT6B. And sadly the music shop here is awful, and doesn't have any volume pedals to try out, but they do have a digitech whammy pedal (not bass though) :(

No reason for the FV50 over the FV500 except its smaller and cheaper.
