Alright, I've been a guitarist for many years now but am getting more and more interested in bass. I'm really looking for a bass that just plays better for the price, not so much sound. I only have 200USD to spend, which isn't alot. I was just having a gander at this:

This bass is a little out of my range, but hopefully I'll be jovial enough and talk the rep down to 200. Any comments would be fine. I understand playability of a bass is all preferance, but I'm not too keen on electric bass (I do own a second hand acoustic bass).

with that budget, go to your local shop, and see if they have anything used for under 200. They should ... it won't be great, but it will make music :thumb:

save up a bit more..like 300 and get a used SR series Ibanez

I would go into a shop and play around with different basses - even if you just go and order something off the internet afterwards.
