Seeing as the other threads are getting full of other things. I'll just list the stuff here. All pictures will be at the bottom of the page. More stuff to come. First one with the money gets the goods. If I don't get any bites here in a week or so, the stuff's going on ebay.

Also, who wanted my Ibanez Roadster bass, and do you still want it? I know I worked out a trade with someone here, I just can't remember who.

Peavey Grind 6 string: Neck through, EMG 40DC pickups, EMG BQC eq, Monorail type bridge sections, Frets are in excellent shape, nice low action with no fret buzz. $450 w/case

Peavey 400 Series Bass head: 210 watts RMS, 2 channels, all solid state, made in 1978. I believe the power was under-rated, as this head is loud. $160.00 (if justin doesn't take it)

Peavey Unity Series Dyna Bass: Neck through, Basslines P/J pickups, Peavey 3 band active eq with passive switch. Excellent condition. Nice low action with no string buzz. $350.00 w/original hardshell case

:amaze:

If it's going on a Fender bass with the 5 screw bridge, it's not hard at all. Just unscrew the old bridge, screw in the new bridge, restring it, and adjust the string height then the intonation.

Nope, not at all. I love Peavey products. It's just that these basses aren't getting used much, nor is the amp head. I'd much rather have the stuff go to people that are going to use it well.

It should fit. They use a 5 screw bridge.

Would you take a trade + cash for the head perhaps? I've got an 80's Ampeg B2, but i realize today how much i dislike it. though im hoping to get about $225 - 250 for it.... and i love peavey's, and i loved that head when i played it, but wasn't in the market for one at the time...

does it have a DI on it?

It doesn't have a DI. This is an older head, made back when mics were used to pick up the sound.

You should be able to sell that for more than I'm asking for the Peavey.

I know, and i intended to. i was curious if you would trade the peavey for the ampeg, and toss me some money too? i dont know how interested you are in it...

You would be the 4th MX'er to own it... AP > SmoovGroove > Me > ?....

I am not really looking to purchase anything from this thread, but, if Justin doesn't buy this head and there is someone else looking at it, that is an excellent head.

I own one, and I absolutely love. And it's ridiculously loud, and I've found the tone that I've always wanted from it. I just wished that I had a better cab to go with it, but, yes, that is a wonderful head.

Wait...I just read that yours is all solidstate.
Mine has tubes

I would be the Justin that is buying the head (hopefully). JP I am just checking into the money situation for the next few months to be able to tell if I will have enought to buy it.

Roger that.

Sixner, if justin isn't able to get it, I'd much rather sell it. I really don't need another amp at the moment, I'm all amped out.

you dont want it, your in canada.. shipping that far could damage the head!

here in columbus, is much closer... less likley to damage the head...

plus, i hear peavey heads are TERRIBLE with ibanez basses

Well tomorrow I'm bringing my bass to my local guitar shop to see how much they'll give me. I was gonna sell this bass and buy a 4 string grind, but you're selling a 6 string grind for like $100 less. I definitely wanna buy it, but I dont have any cash. The only idea I got is sell my bass to the store, hopefully tomorrow I'll have the cash to buy the bass.

I might possibly be interested in the Peavey Grind, but I'm kind of weary about buying a bass off of the internet. I'll think about it.

If you're worried about buying from JP, don't be. I just bought his MIA P-bass. It arrived just as he said, and in great condition.

I'd say it's worth buying a bass form him just for the set up.

There are a few others who have also bought from JP, and whi I'm sure will attest to him being extremely fair for pricing, and an extremely reliable when it comes to doing business. I would gladly buy from him again, and I'm sure that everyone here that has doen business with him will say the same.

I would love that Peavey, but seeing as I've never played a Grind, let alone a sixer, I'd be kind of nervous. I don't know what to do.

The bridge is sold. Thanks for the interest though.

Both Peavey basses are still available and will be going on ebay soon if no one jumps on them.

Would you ship that head to the UK?

It would end up costing you a small fortune for shipping, and you would either have to use a transformer or convert it so it would run on 220 volts.
