Here is a file of my band performing an entirely improvised, 50 minute jam. We recorded this in my loft with one large diaphragm condensor mic and a USB port, but it sounds surprisingly OK on decent speakers for the 5 minutes of set-up time we took. (Kind of funny that the song lasts 10 times longer than it took us to set up the USB and mic.) My band's name is The Tinsmen, we're all High-school aged. This one is based in a Blues Rock/Psychedelic Jam Band type style. There's two guitarists, a bassist, and a drummer. Pretty generic rock band set up. We have a vocalist, but he doesn't come to Jam sessions like these because he'd just be sitting there. This is my first time posting anything as long as this, so I hope people will still give it at least a bit of a chance. We're definately not the most technically skilled musicians, but we're trying, and remember that all riffs, beats, grooves- and everything else as a matter of fact, were created on the spot and that the sound quality is not even close to perfect.

Don't feel obligated to listen to the whole thing (I'm still not going discourage it, though it does take some patience.) Any feedback or suggestions is immensely appreciated, even the sarcastic or pointless ones. If there are any issues with the file, please report them.

No offense, but no one is going to want to download a 50 minute track from a band we've never heard. Maybe break it down into multiple tracks, or something. Just a suggestion.

Alright, I was able to edit it down to under 10 minutes, and just clipped out two or three parts that I liked the best. The sound quality is alot weaker, but it still gets the basic concept across. Again, don't feel obligated to listen to the whole thing, but a basic review of something would be great. Thanks.

It's the first song that plays on here.
