The title and the song is basically a metaphore for dealing with clinical depression. I really like the basic premise of the song, thats why i'm posting it even though i'm a bit unsure about some of the lyrics. it'd be cool if i could get some help with it cause i really want this song to come together. thanks
Pinetrees in Minnesota
Seasons condenced to hours
Each snowflake seems insignificant
As they conjoin the pressure becomes evident
All branches bend
Some branches break
40 Milligrams of sunlight
The pressure melts and turns to salt
Sleep comes from 80 Milligrams of moonlight
In the calm of unconsiousness, without control
Salt into water
Water into ice
The pressure pushes harder
I wait for the sun
Just one should suffice
The warmth provides temporary relief
The branch knows it won't last
It always snows in Minnesota
Each snowflake proves damaging
From the first
To the last
