Is any one else going? Its Memorial Day weekend at the Gorge in Washington. I just bought my three day pass today and I'm very excited, I'm not sure what bands I'll be seeing yet because I don't think they have released the time schedule and stuff. Maybe they did but meh.
Anyway the line up is pretty good on friday we have (one stage):
Nine Inch Nails, Special Guest - to be announced, HIM, ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, Wolfmother
My plans right now are to go see NIN, Wolfmother and Trail of Dead. I'm pretty sure I'm going to skip HIM, I might watch a song or two then go do something else. I'm not sure who the Special Guest is, there are rumors of Tool (who are in Europe I guess), a Pumpkins reunion (this is happening at Lolla I guess) and AIC reunion (I doubt that). I'll probably see the special guest no matter what also.
Saturday has a more indie line-up:
Mainstage: BEN HARPER & The Innocent Criminals, The Flaming Lips, The Shins, The Tragically Hip, Neko Case, Iron & Wine, Sufjan Stevens, Gomez, Rogue Wave Wookie: Sam Roberts, Constantines, Architecture In Helsinki, Bedouin Soundclash, Matt Costa, The Brunettes Yeti: Tim Seely, Korby Lenker, Common Market, more artists to be announced
My plans are to see the Flaming Lips, the Shins, Gomez and Rogue Wave. I'll probably just move around because most of those bands I don't know or don't like.
And Sunday is the day I really like:
Mainstage: Beck, Death Cab For Cutie, Queens of the Stone Age, Matisyahu, The Decemberists, Nada Surf, Pretty Girls Make Graves, Blue Scholars Wookie: Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Arctic Monkeys, We Are Scientists, Chad Vangaalen, The Heavenly States Yeti: Rocky Votolato, Laura Veirs, Mercir, The Village Green, Headphones more artists to be announced
I'll try and see Beck, QOTSA, Matisyahu, Nada Surf, Arctic Monekys and I just bought albums from Pretty Girls Make Graves and We Are Scientists so I might see them.
Anyway I'm just excited to see QOTSA who are probably the only reason I am really going. I don't like the rest of the line-up. I won't miss Matisyahu or NIN either.
