Found the following on talkbass.

Thought it might interest a few people on here.

http://www.techeblog.com/index.php/tech-gadget/incredible-60-inch-subwoofer

Edit: I suppose the flip side to that is of course the Amp/s needed to power the thing, now that must be a scary sight too.

Damage will only really occur with prolonged exposure at 85db, its not instantaneous.

Imagine slapping on that thing. with distortion, on the top of a large building. ace way to rule the earth.
i bet they have something like a behringer bass head powering it, though.

Criss Frantic

There'd be no stage. I can't wait for a B grade movie to come out called "The Speaker That Destroyed Them All". Alec Baldwin can play the part of the speaker.

Damn, beat me to it!!!

But that definitley would be sweet. Also I think that's a speaker capable of blowing off a woman's clothing like on the Italian Job

I'd also use that to blow enemy armies away, and also the audience. \m/

i'd also think you'd need a forklift to move that thing to gigs

That is so awesome in a completely unpractical way.

If they had worked it so that it went up to 190db, they could've caused an earthquake with it.
