I've seen that some drummers use a stand for their one tom.. and i mean a stand that looks like a snare stand but it's higher and they use it angled.. I searched some online stores but i didn't find any of these and i wonder if a snare stand can do this job.. I'm just curious guyz! thnx..

Hmm, I've used a snare stand before but they don't seem to be ideal, I'm not sure if there is a special stand for it

I used to use a snare stand for that purpose and it worked great. Not sure what problem you guys were having with it.

if there is any special stand for this job in online stores or other sites, please send links.. ;)
Im pretty sure there is no such thing. What you are seeing are snare drum stands being used and Im sure some are better then others for this purpose.

It's just a snare stand.
Now I have a question of my own. What would I have to attach to my I.S.S if I wanted to mount it with an L-Arm (ball type) instead of a conventional Pearl T3 style tom arm?
Might want to look at a Gibraltar mount or something like that.

Do you think a floor tom leg mount would work? Say if I screwed the mount to the I.S.S, then put the L Arm in the mount..
It should, its basically the same thing. Do you have a RIMS style mount already?

But you can unscrew the old style tom arm mount and you are left with this:

The shape is a little odd for the Pearl stuff so you will have to drill new holes to make the mount fit.

Do you think Pearl would have made L Rod mounts to fit the I.S.S?
They have never used L rods and I doubt they would make them.
Check out something like this, Im sure your local store can get this stuff.

Yes you can use a good, heavy duty snare stand to support a tom. I've tried it personally and its works very well.
I HIGHLY suggest the DW 9300 if you want to try this.
Here's a pic I got from Ebay that shows this concept.
