and Just because I feel like it, my current setup:

that's two kits there btw, I'm refinishing my hayman kit so i've mixed
my practise set, and my dad's kit together.

And one of my hayman drums i've just finished refinishing:

What's with the cymbal to the upper left of the hi hats?

I like the china, looks really nice. I've heard great things about Stagg, it's too bad we can't get them in the US very easily.

lol, that cymbal above the hihat?

It was a school cymbal (vintage Avedis) and the whole bell cracked cause the fags put it on a stand with no felts or plastic sleeves, so i cut the bell out an hung it up with some wire (i'm cheap)

Hows that Coated Dip over Clear Pin snare going? Would you recommend a Coated Dip as a snare batter? and Nice Kit. Three rides. Nice

that is one sexy china man, how much did it cost you?

Iodus
03-05-2006, 09:46 PM
the china cost me $150NZ, maybe about $100 in US currrency

On the dip/pin snare i've cranked both heads, it's really only good for effects, and I can't say I've really tried a coated dip as a batter on a real snare, I'm always scared I'll put a stick through it, especially with the crazy guys from school I let play on it, but that'll change once I finish refinishing everything.
