I have very little space in my room, and I want to move my drums. The only area my family is O.K. with is the side room (like a "sunroom", outside the inner house, but covered with a roof and walls.) There is no air conditioning or heat. I live in NC, and it gets hot (90's farenheit) and humid in the summer. Would it be alright to leave my drums in that room? Would the heat/humidity screw them up?

I go to the Outer Banks every year during the summer and is extremely humid, as much as it is in Philly during the summer w/ all the factories and ****. I wouldn't put my drums out there, incase of warping or something.

It could possibly warp the wooden shells. And if you have wraps ,it will mostlikly damage the wrap.

Wouldnt it expand the drum? I think. I guess that would effect your tuning, but other than that I dont know about it warping, im not sure you have to worry about that....I from statesville, nc if any of yall have been there just sayin, at least in Matthews yall have guitar center

I hate that Guitar Center... but it's the closest quality drum shop around here.
