haha! My wesley is my baby, don't insult her! And Lucy came like that. She is an Elite II P-bass from the mid-eighties. She actually was in the last ever run of instruments that the CBS-managed Fender made, and it shows. They put a lot of effort into those fenders, and mine sings like Pavarotti on Nessun Dorma...The pick-ups are active as well, so there's tone-a-plenty!

Its a Cimar bass, which was basically a precision knock-off from the early eighties. I like it because its sligtly pointier than a Precision and the body slopes a bit more.

I think mine was made in 1986. I havent checked the serial # in a while, so its in the back of my memory, but I deffinatly remember mid 80s. They're also Japanese made, if that helps
