As i was laying down a track yesterday, in the middle of a song well my "Snare Switch" broke. The snare switch that i'm refering to is the switch that turns your snare on/off. My snare is a regular Tama Steel snare and was wondering has this ever happen to any of you guys/gals before? Another question is that do i have to buy that switch directly from the company or any other place? i've tried e-bay, and googled it but im not really sure what the on/off switch is called?
advice anybody

It's called a "Strainer" or a "Throw off". I *think* musiciansfriend.com sells Tama ones, but I could be wrong.
