Well at least new to me... maybe you guys saw it before...
http://espguitars.com/images/basses/b206.jpg
its a LTD B-206FM
FEATURES: bolt-on construction; 34” scale; basswood body w/flamed maple top; 5-piece maple & walnut neck; rosewood fingerboard; dot inlays w/model name at 12th fret; EMG 45-HZ pickups; volume & balance controls; EMG B64 active EQ; gold satin hardware; ESP BB-06 bridge; 24 XJ frets
What do you guys think? Would it be a upgrade or down grade from my Ibanez Sr506(which i do love)

i would say that they are about the same, but i would take the ibanez over the ESP because they have a better reputation as being more solid and i don't like basswood and a body wood

The Bongo shoots down that theory.
With a nuclear missile.
(basswood is bad for bass theory)

I used to be the same way, but if done right, it's not bad. My Bongo has a basswood body and it sounds killer.

I forgot that bongo's have basswood bodys. I would still take the ibanez over the ESP though.
