For my band class at school were doing a blues project. everyone was supposed to choose a blues artist our guitarist chose bb king the drummer chose louis armstrong, i was deciding between marcus miller or pastorius, so i went with jaco.
so heres the deal
i'm sposed to make a recording based on the style of jaco. he uses a fretless so i know it's time to take out my fender. but i have no clue what scales, modes, patterns he uses. Could you give me some tips about him and where to start?
