Anathema - Destiny, Infinity, Eternity

I couldn't find a thread about Anathema, though i was sure there once exist one, so i decided to make (a new) one.

I haven't listen to Anathema for i while; i listen to them right now and i have to realize once again how deep their lyrics are. they are able to describe the beauty and desperation of a depression in just a few accurate words.

for those who are not too familiar with the lyrics of Anathema i will give some examples:

what are your favourite lyrics, songs by Anathema?

Anathema are an awesome act. I've only started listening to the recently, and I've heard Serenades, Alternative 4 and A Natural Disaster. I'd definately have to say I prefer the Rockier stuff to the Doom Metal though. It just seems to have that element of beauty about it.

As for the lyrics, I haven't really paid that much attention to them. I should give them a closer look. I really like Lost Control though.

One last goodbye gets my vote for awesomest song ever, especially the version with the Liverpool Orchestra. Temporary Peace, Inner Silence, Flying and A natural Disaster are my other Anathema favorites.

They'll be releasing three iTunes exclusive tracks in April. As of now, they're without a label and enough money to get an album done so buy those when they're out to support them. They're an awesome, awesome band.

That makes me feel like I bought A Natural Disaster the other day for a reason. They're a great band. I don't understand how they could possibly struggling so much. Surely, anyone who can write songs like this must have some kind of dedicated fan base.
