Looks like a Hamer copy of a TBird.

Hmmmm, bluejeans, flannel, long hair. Grunge band reminicient of nirvana? IDK what the year is, but seems like something krist novoselik would use, so im sure it'll fit the band well. Have fun with it.

I thought Hamer made starter basses.

that's "slammer" by hamer. I think hamer has some basses of good quality. It's the usual "fender/squire" type of deal.

I've only played one Hamer, and it was priced at over two thousand dollars. It seems like four hundred dollars is a fair deal for a Hamer bass that's in working order. I think it's a little ugly, but I'm sure that it's a really nice bass.
It has an Explorer body, so I would guess that it's a mid-late 80s model. I really have no idea, but it looks like an 80s bass, to me. How does it sound?

Those guys are like the pretty boy grunge. Where's the ripped jeans, dirty old shirts, and greasy hair? Haha, I'm just joking.

someone asked how it sounds... it sounds better than it looks (imo). a little on the trebly side, but it still thumps. its got a real "metal" tone, doesnt really have a krist novaselic tone lol

Hamer basses are amazing from what i've played (i've only played 2 a 12 string and a 4) and if you can get on for that price thats cool. BTW i dig body shape alot, Chris K you're an idiot ::wave::
generally they make really good basses.
