I have done this once. durring an off part of practice my guitarists went into a crazy solo. so i got the crazy idea to walk over there and switch ff his amp. I was pretty funny. he stopped and was all pissed and such but it was funny.

give it a try.

its more fun if the guitarist thinks youre mates, but you dont like him, and then you do it...

Thats not a good idea. You will get whacked by a guitar, which would hurt. If you do that again, be prepared and have your sticks ready for a defensive tactic.

I did that once, but then he hit me with his guitar, and then I stabbed him in the heart with a drum stick, and then he bit my ear, and then I ripped out his spleen. And then, a dragon came and bit our heads off. The moral is, dragons are attracted to the scent of spleens.

You guys who are saying it's a bad idea and such like, it seems that your guitarist are all arsey bastards and can't see the funny side of things.

idk i would be pissed if someone screwed me up while jamming........ i guess my guitarist inverted my splash on me and i took a new (never been played) pair of sticks and played (without noticing) and broke the tip......... then they might deserve it.

Haha, I can't believe other people have actually done this. Now don't get me wrong, if the guitarist is pulling off this ****ing awsome improv solo I'm definately willing to sit it out and see where it goes, but the time I pulled the plug on my guitarist's amp was pretty much just a loud annoying screaching noise in a lame attempt to show off his new gear. I set him straight and he never did that annoying crap again.

These "pranksters" are the same people who play OTHER peoples kits or instrument, etc., bend, break or tear up gear, that's not theirs or if it is theirs, they just get mommy & daddy to replace it.

Goofing off is one thing, being retarded is another
