Sup gice.

I'm using the native Cubase midi-Sequencer and the LM-7 drum sampler with drumkit from hell 1.

My problem is that the hi-hat sounds like **** because everytime it is called in the midi-track the running hi-hat is cut. In reality that may make sense (well it's not actually cut but sort of muted) but it sounds pretty bad when simulated. Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

Any answers, flaming included, are greatly appreciated.

go to devices then mixer then on the channel you want to change press the picture with an 'e' on.
this well then open up a box of windows for like eq's and all your plug in effects like reverb and compression which can drastically change the sound of the kit.

if all else fails: 909 it! ha its so good that 909

Hmmm, I just read quite a bit about LM-7. Is the LM-7 even a sampler I can use Drumkit From Hell with? Or did I fool myself and those were standard midi-ish piece of **** drums?

I've not used Cubase in a while, but I think LM-7 uses fxb files containing the sounds, there is a second bank of sounds available by loading the bank file "lm-7_2nd Set.fxb" from the LM-7 file selector.
