Hey ya Drummers..
Not sure if the terms are correct - but I need a rythm for this guitar peice.. I've tried a few patterns with Fruity Loops, but I can't seem to get it to fit, also I don't have anything to measure bpm, so please lend a hand there to. :)

Tabs and recordings prefered. :)

Appreciate the suggestion, however, I can't seem to find a tempo in FL where that'll work with the tempo I play in the recording. :x

Ummm... I wouldn't put any drums in there, personally. I don't think they fit. If I had to, though...

Hats on 1 2 3
Bass on 1
Snare on 3

Cause it sounds like 3/4 time to me... if it's 4/4 then just adjust. One the very last note, you can either do open hats or a quiet crash.

You're probably gonna get better answers from other forum members than me (and cyber, too :p ), but meh... it might work.

Oh, and that seemed REALLY slow. ~80-90 I'm guesing, but I've never been the best at guessing BPMs.

:p

I perceive it as 4/4; think it works ok even though the recording was swiftly done

Oooh, like yours.. It was exactly what I had in mind. :)

Now.. Any good hi-hat movement that would work with that? Was thinking of some sort of triplet movement. :x

Oh and my ear doesn't seem to be working today.. When does the bassdrum fall in the part?

Cyber:
Still can't get yours to work lol. :D

Nope, just says wrong pass etc.

Think I managed it pretty decent with Fruity Loops. :)

(If it acts up it's because I still haven't figured how to not make it loop when I 'mix it down' with FL)

Hehe sorry.. Just replied to the Swedish in Danish. Was only about the log in thingy which doesn't appear to be working for some peculiar reason. :x

It's spelled rhythm. I'm surprised no one else caught that.

Anyway here it is: http://members.chello.se/nummulit/groove2.wav

Nothing special, basic groove...sound quality not the best (though, I think thats how I would end up playing it)

Has anyone actually listened to the accoustic piece. Just blame it on the piece it self. The progressive chord changes are are alright till he/she switches and place some type of dischord totally off key.

sorry i dont flame never do, but if your playing this for someone drummer or not. mention the chordchange being terrible out of key.

this would make an okay intro for a song sans drums
