Since John Bonham is such a popular topic here...and why wouldn't he be....I thought I would post some interesting things I found on him. Hopefully some of you will find this stuff as interesting as I did.

wikipedia is a "wiki" meaning that a ton of users basically have control over it. Some of the users probably do make stuff up, but I think most of it's caught, and it's fairly accurate. I wouldn't trust it 100% though.

^^^^. Yeah I use it alot, my LA teacher read something about Nixon or something that his bodygaurd said that was posted on Wikipedia that was wrong, so apparantly everyhing else had to be wrong, so we couldn't use it for our research papers as a source.

Yeah, the MLA (Something Language Association) hasn't taken up an official stance on wikis, it's mostly left up to the individual teacher or whatever. But I think in the future it will start having "verified" status for certain articles which will allow it to be used certifiably for that kind of thing.

yep. that can happen. i knew a guy who died that way. you can't let someone pass out on their back if they've been drinking heavily. our rhythm guitar player drinks like that and i'm always worried about him choking to death on his puke.

Did Bonham ever take lessons or was he self-taught?
