K, so I'm downloading some RHH right now. I've only heard a few songs, but they could be my new favorite psychobilly band. Big Red Rocket Of Love has a kickass rockabilly guitar line.
Anyway, ITT discuss the awesomeness of Reverend Horton Heat or the awesomeness of psychobilly in general.

The Rev is good ****. I'm not sure I'd call him straight up psychobilly, closer to rockabilly, but he pioneered psychobilly with The Cramps, etc.

Yes! I lover RHH! I was so pissed that I couldn't see him/them when they came to Chicago because it was 18+. I'd have to say Five-0 Ford is one of my favorite songs.

I've got his greatest hits. Bales of Cocaine is probably his best song. I might go see him in April.

Hell yeah bro. I'm glad there are topics for bands like this. ****, I'm glad there are bands like this. A great rocking trio. Top notch on guitar, drums, and bass. You really have to see their live show. The Rev is an unbelievably super nice dude too.
I've seen them three times, never disappointed. Twice with Split Lip Rayfield. That band is another story all together! Check them out. If you can't find any downloads, then check out their myspace page. http://www.myspace.com/splitliprayfield They are another band you gotta see live to get the full effect. They seriously get the entire room to dance.

With all this RHH appreciation going around, I think some illegal downloading is in order.

I was planning to see them, twice, but both times they were 21+ or 18+! I was pissed off... I want to see them so bad.

You've never heard of 18+ shows before? Hell, I've even seen shows being advertised as 16+ which just seems stupid and ridiculous.

It's all about the license. Here shows are usually 14+, 16+ or 18+.

What is everyone's favorite RHH album? I'd say Smoke 'Em If You Got 'Em is a classic so I'd probably have to go with that one. I'd also recommend it to anyone who doesn't have it.

HA! psychobilly--has a nice ring to it...anyways the rev definately kicks ****my fave song by him would probably be liquor beer & wine, such a 'deliriously' good song...hehe get it- deliriously?
And I could identify with him on that song, my liver too looks like molded old swiss cheese. Though no one knows me down at uncle bubba's bar.

Wow, looks like he's coming to Seattle in September. I'm definitely going to check that out. Does anybody know if the Horrorpops are any good? 'Cause that's who RHH is touring with.

They're crap. But they have dancers who are hot in a goth-nurse kind of way.

Definitely agreed. Their dancers are very hot, especially the blonde one.
Also, RHH is waaaaay better than the Horrorpops.

*os catalepticos
It's kind of hard to spell/pronounce because they're from Brazil.
