to recreate my fav. guitarist sounds fgor my tribute band i need a presense knob, but i dont have one.. so is there any alt. way to dial in that presense knob sound? any pedals or anythying that count as presense? the most of i have a is a shape knob?

You shouldn't NEED one. It just adjust the ultra high frequencies.

ohhh cuz for like van halen and bls and all those guys it says that they all use it and dial in there tone from it.. what doe shape adjust

Hehe, no it's not.

Presence is like a boost in the upper mid frequencies.
They are just a range of frequencies that are perceived louder to us, and therefore can make your amp stand out in a live band situation easier.

They are added in a way that is a little bit differnt to how the Bass, Mid and Treble controls on your amp work tho. But never mind about that, it's not important.

If you do want your guitar to stand out in the mix a bit more then just give your treble and or your mid EQ setting a little bit of a boost.
But you shouldn't 'need' a presence control in order to sound like another guitarist tho.
