Yeah I borrowed this guys hi hat stand (Sunlite HS-1000). While I was playing it, I stepped on the pedal, and it was stuck, and so I pressed harder, and the pedal crashed to the floor. It won't go back up. I checked to see if the rod was connected to the inner rod, and it was, so that's not the problem. I really don't want to have to spend $80 to replace this guys stand, so if anyone knows what to do, please help me. I'll post some pictures in a few moments, thanks.

That happened to my church's kit, but the spring actually came out...
You're going to want to take it into a store and ask, really. I know that at L&M at Winnipeg, if I have something little like that (or a busted lug or something), they'll just whip the thing open, throw in the replacement, and say have fun.
At the most, something like that's gonna be $5, though. I think...
sunlite stands are not $80. buy him a cheap pulse stand in worse case scenario

The same thing happened to my stand once. It might be just a simple adjustment on the cams. That's what it was for me.
