hi, i have a DIVX file and i would like to be able to view it on my DVD player.
is it possable?

Can't you just burn it onto a DVD-R? I'm sure that would work.

yeah, i would want it burned to DVD-R so i can watch it in my DVD player but i don't know if a normal DVD player would play DIVX
I reckon it would. Don't quote me on that though, heh.

You have to convert it to VOB/DVD format. Some players can play mpeg so mpeg format might work, but to be sure, grab a converter, and convert it to dvd format, then burn it.

well buy nero and theres a thing in nero that converts AVI to DVD

Nero can do it for you, though it'll take longer than a dedicated avi->dvd program.
