Is this album any good? I wanted to pick this up today. I listened to some samples in the shop and I immediately fell in love with "Another Sunny Day".

The rest of this album that good? I just listened to the whole mp3. It's amazing.

I'd say it's a pretty solid album, I think we may have had a thread, would surprise me if we hadn't. I think everyone thought it was a new direction for them, but nothing drastic and it sounded good.

It's worth it. It comes with a bonus 'Live at the BBC' DVD as well.

It's not as good as past B&S albums but that doesn't mean it is bad. It's a solid album but don't expect a carbon copy of the bands earlier albums.

I've been meaning to get into them. This guy in my William Carlos Williams class was telling me about 'em, and I may pick up an album or two. I heard Sinister and Push Barman to Open Old Wounds were their best. Any help, my necrocracy?

I'd go with those if I were you, then The Boy With The Arab Strap.

I have only listened to Life Pursuit once and didn't especially enjoy it. The main problem is it IS hard for me to compare Life Pursuit to older Belle and Sebastian albums, especially if I'd rather listen to them.

It's not as good as Sinister. I understand that they are different albums and all, but the songwriting just isn't as good. It's ok. I'd give it 3.5. I'll probably review it pretty soon.

I heard White Collar Boy on my local college radio station and I'm planning on getting this record sometime in the near future.

It sounded like a 60s pop song, I actually thought it was for the first few seconds. Very good stuff though.

I really like Funny Little Frog. It's a bit cheesy, I know, but it's just so damn catchy.

I like this album. It got me into B&S, I didn't particularly like the few songs I'd heard from them before, like If She Wants Me. I got Tigermilk too and liked that, so I'm gonna get Sinister next.
