I want some electronica that's soft, quiet and preferably pretty. Nothing too complex or souless. Can anyone help?

Kraftwerk?
Lots of Daft Punk is like that, mostly from the album Discovery.
Postal Service...not very electronic though, and the lyrics require thought, if you're planning on listening hard. Which you're probably not.
Try some nice trip-hop, DJ Shadow, Massive Attack, Bjork, Lamb...etc.
Peace.

I was thinking of instrumental stuff really. Thanks for the suggestions, but I listen to every band you suggested already.

Radiohead's Kid A seems to fit. Although it's not entirely electronica.
If your a fan of Postal Service type of sound, Patrick Wolf is quite enjoyable, his lyrics are quite decent and his voice has depth. Four Tet can be ok, I'm sure you've heard him though.
I've been into some really fun sort of new-wave. The Presets (aussie's so you probably heard them bread), New Order (duh!), The Faint, !!! and Ratatat.

I'm not really into that much indie... but could someone name me some Electronica... that has lyrics and is what the threadstarter said, besides complex wouldn't be a problem for me.
Thanks. :)

Royksopp have one good album. (Melody AM) I'm guessing you already know Aphex Twin, Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyke and Moby but if not check um out. Oh, the Orb are pretty cool too.

Rob Dougan, perhaps? I'm not sure if he fulfils all your criteria - or any of them, really - but he's all I can think of, and worth a listen.

I was listening to Meat Beat Manifesto today. Doesn't exactly fit your criteria, but it's good stuff.
Um... maybe check out Autechre.
I was just about to make this exact thread. I really want to check out Boards Of Canada, they are gonna be in the next mailing list if anyones interested.
Check out Album Leaf. It's soft, quiet, and pretty.
