if you have any questions, feel free to ask. i didn't feel like writing much seeing that i doubt it will provoke much interest anyways. i'm just proud of it, so i made a thread.

Nice, I'm really jealous...
What is the little thingy with the mic inputs (well...what model)
it's a PreSonus Firebox midi interface.

Hows it work...I've heard good things
basically, i just run a cable, (from my BP200), into the first mic input on the front of the interface. from there, it connects to my computer with a firewire cable. (when it comes to interfaces, it's best to go firewire. the signal will travel MUCH faster as opposed to USB).
anyways, as for the actual box itself, i can control the gain and the master volume. i also connect my monitors to the back of the box, with two TRS cables. it came with a couple software programs too, but i haven't really used them.
prior to having the interface, i was just doing the standard 1/4" to 1/8" method. but after buying this, the quality of my recording improved DRASTICALLY. which is why i bought it in the first place.:p

3 questions,
What sixer do you have back there?
How is the Behringer head? Are they as unreliable as they're said to be?

ooohhh, damn, i just wasted all that time.:(

it's alright, i switched attorneys, (don't know if i mentioned that), and it seems to be going smoothly. as i've said before, i just hope i end up with felony-type probation, and no jail/prison time...

Its okay mr. dylan

Tell me about the bp200
Quality wise...tones and such.
Is it worth the 50+ over the bp80?
What sixer do you have back there?
Ibanez SR-506.
How is the Behringer head?
great. nice tone, good power, and no technical problems, so far.
Are they as unreliable as they're said to be?
no, although, i believe their combos to be "tainted." well, in the sense that they're really hit or miss. i mean, my BX1200 got fried two days after i bought it; but some people have had their's for quite a while, with no problems. so yeah, they get a bad rep from their combos, but i have found, (and heard), nothing but good things about their heads.

Cool. They're heads are so cheap, it's hard to resist.

i love it, personally. so did a lot of other people around here until it came trendy to bag on 'em, but whatever. i think it carries awesome potential; and with all the settings...how could it not?
for being a multi-effects processor, i think it can produce some desirable tones. of course, you can find better with A LOT of other pedals, but hey, it suits me just fine.
Is it worth the 50+ over the bp80?
hmm, i'm not sure...maybe if it were like 30+ over the BP200. something around there.
Cool. They're heads are so cheap, it's hard to resist.

I like the BP200. It has some nice tones. But I would not pay full price. I got mine for $50 plus the power adapter, and I wouldn't have payed much more.

Nice set up what program are you using to record with on the mac?
GarageBand for recording, and Sound Studio for sample editing. although, i could just use GarageBand for that as well, but i'm just used to it this way. i've also got Cubase LE, but i'm really enjoying GB right now, so i doubt i'll use it anytime soon.
