I used to have the sheet music (Choral/bass/guitar/drums), but I lost it. So that doesnt help you. But, I figured I could rub it in your face.
I agree with BV, just go buy it.

Even if it wasn tabbed, it wouldn't tell you the duration of notes and rests.

Okay two questions:
1) If you are in the pit for the musical, shouldn't they have given you the music?
2) How did you get into the pit if you can't read or are too lazy to read?

You know what else you can get from listening to the music?
The notes.
I mean come on, it's Grease. The hardest to hear is probably Hopelessly Devoted To You and that's still pretty simple. The bass is so clear on all the recordings.

Jesus christ, are you reading the same thread?!?! Where did he say he was playing in a pit? He said it's for school. It's hardly going to be a typical pit situation.

Well I did just skim over it. I saw musical and assumed pit. My mistake.
But for the record, my school has a pit for the musicals.

Ah fair enough.
Anyway, why didn't they give you the music in school? This sounds dodgy.

That's what organised musical ensembles do.
You show up, they give you music, you play music. If you're lucky, you get it in advance.

Hahah, that's shocking.
What the hell kind of school do you go to?
christophicus

A normal secondary school.
Its for my music class, not an after school thing,We will be playing at another school and this could be one of the things we do.

Demand they give you the sheet music.
Or some sort of music.
It's unfair to expect you to get it yourself. They can hire scores like that you know.

Just search all the song names and bass tabs on google, you should be able to find the major ones.

I can't believe you have to provide your own sheet music in band class. That is rediculous. I mean, the kids could show up with a dozen different arrangements of one song.

hey another grease player. my school is currently doing a production of grease. tabs will not help you. alot of it is based around the chords played and blues progressions. what school do you go to and where?
p.s. tell me what songs you want to know and i'll half tab them
are you doing the actual musical, or the movie?
p.p.s. you do know there's over 30 songs in the musical?
p.p.p.s. you do know it's almost the same rhythm for each. "magic changes" is reprised like 4 times.
