I just started to learn the George Smed piece chocolate milk and I've run in to some problems. Now I dont tap that often but for some reason the even the tab on his site is a little confusing. If someone could give me some advce on this piece that be great. (what is he doing with his thumb)

From the video I understand that he taps notes with both hands, and while sustaining them, he plays some of the chords by plucking them with his thumb.

According to him, it's his bass plugged direct into the computer, with some reverb added through his recording program (I forget which one, ask him).

A simple reverb or chorus effect will get you a similar tone easily.

Wonderful Tonight and Rabbit Dew are a direct line into the computer with no effects or post mastering what so ever. As dry as you can get. Irish Spring, Slappy and Chocolate Milk have some TC Native Reverb added to it in post but that is all. You are right with the thumb technique. I'm working on a technique using the thumb to strum while tapping at the same time. This is posing to be a crazy hard trick.

What's the URL of his website with the tabs?

I dont know about those tabs in the video it looks like hes hitting the 10th fret on G with his index and the 10th on the D right after. I kinda wish there was a detailed tab on the tapping cause I'd love to understand better.
