Don Knotts, the skinny, lovable nerd who kept generations of television audiences laughing as bumbling Deputy Barney Fife on "The Andy Griffith Show," has died. He was 81.

I was really shocked at this, when I read it, my jaw just dropped. I was just talking about him the other day with my dad. He was hilarious and was loved by both my parents and me.

Wow, I can remember laughing at him back in the day.

My godfather was a big fan of his, I used to watch Andy Griffith when I visited him.

RIP.

Woah. That's really sad. :(

He was so funny, especially on Three's Company.

I saw one movie of his, it was called the Reluctant Astronaut, and it was a pile of feces.

And in one or two Scooby-Doo cartoons!

As it's already been said, at least he lived a long and very eventful life. He will indeed be missed.
