A half rack space? Good luck finding anything that'll be even moderately useful.

when you say half-rack? you mean what exactly?
as you said its on your amp im guessing its acutally 1U rather than "half"? look it up you might get a few more answers with a correct description

If it is really a full rack space, I recommend the Ashly Audio CLX-51 compressor.

the alesis 3630 limiter/compressor has been great for me and is very reasonably priced.

Line 6 POD XT Live if you've got space/money.
or...
Korg DTR-1000/2000 Rackmount tuner.

I think he meant the rack is half empty. Either that, or he really meant a full rack space. He never mentioned rack space though... I have a 5 rack-space rack.... 2 for my amp. 1 for a tuner. The other two I just have a plate over... Eventually I will get something for it. Either a drawer or effects...
Edit: I have the Fender RT-1000. I'm happy with it, just in case you are thinking of something to put in there.

No, it isn't. The Pro is. And it's two spaces, anyway, so it doesn't matter.

iv seen the guitar pod mounted in a rack - so yeh it is possible... such a waste of rack space though (was mounted upright, set into the face of the rack if you see what i mean) probably cheaper to buy a pod pro - either that or mount in on top if you can do that with you rack. anyway back to the thread....

It wasn't meant to be racked, and it isn't a good idea. It's a floor pedal. The PODxt Pro is the rackmountable one.
