Well, it's ended up on the Bay. :(

The starting price is what I can get by selling it at Bass Centre, so if it doesn't sell on eBay, I'll send it out to them. :)

If only it was a righty...
Too bad it wound up on evilbay. You should probably get something good for it there, though. :thumb:

If it were a righty, I'd be selling my other fretless instead. This thing is truly gorgeous. Sounds incredible.

The thing looks beautiful, shame no one on here snatched it up.

It may also be worth getting a TalkBass account to try selling it there, as well. I'm sure someone there would snap that up in a second.

Alex, my little businessman.
Is it me, or does it look like there's a huge gap between the A and D strings on the picture of the fretless neck... :amaze:
EDIT: I think a string's broken or something...
/didn't read eBay blurb and will do that now
EDIT 2: Yeah...it is...and you'll pay for new strings. Got it!
EDIT 3: Alex smells...
EDIT 4: ...good.

With some creative stringing you foos could make it right-handed

Nah - unlined fretless.
If you strung it upside down, you'd have terrible access to the upper frets, and you would have NO markings as to where the notes where. The side dots would be on the bottom. :)
I thought about it. :D

Interesting little side note.
If some people were wondering why there is an Alembic influence in that bass, that's because Rick Turner was one of the original members of Alembic. It was he and Ron Wickersham that pretty much started Alembic.
That should tell you something about the quality and craftsmanship of Turner basses and guitars. Excellent!!

I actually mentioned that in the auction. :)
It's definitely clear in the headstock - pretty much identical to the classic Alembic shape.
