Need A Drummer?

This Pro-Drummer is Available to Perform or Record with your Band for a Reasonable Fee. Rates are Cost Effective and Include an Excellent Rehearsal Studio in NYC (If Needed).

Chris DeRosa is a Hired Freelance Drummer/Composer who currently lives in New York City, but his experience has taken him to many parts of the world (40 countries).

A well-versed Seasoned Drummer who has studied at both The Berklee College of Music where he received the Buddy Rich Jazz Masters scholarship and at the University Of Miami where he was the recipient of the Bowman Ashe scholarship for artistic and academic achievement. There he also received his Studio Music/Jazz Performance degree.

Chris has played and/or recorded with the likes of Deborah Harry and Chris Stein, Skinner Box, Motorbaby, Nate Ouderkirk, E-trance, Ben Stivers (MatchBox 20), Jonathan and Victor (Camper Van Beethoven), Tony Scherr (Norah Jones, Al DiMeola), Fluffer, Magnet (Replacing Moe Tucker of the Velvet Underground), The Five Satins, Air-O-Sol, Matt Bonelli (BeeGee's), Collider, Liquid, Mark White (The Spin Doctors), Yale University Big Band, Willie Ruff, Bill Brown Quartet, Matthew Brubeck, Chris DeRosa Group, Oh! Calcutta, Grease, Songs Of Paradise, Mikado, Barbara Feldman Dance Co., Gus Solomons jr, Ron Brown/Evidence, David Dorfman Dance, Bebe Miller, Sean Curran, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Doug Varone And Dancers, Kevin Wynn, Donald Byrd, Jose' Limon Dance Foundation, Paul Taylor Dance Co., University of Utah Dept.of Dance, and such Producers as
Daniel Rey (White Zombie, Ramones), Steve Eigner (Nelly), Jon Brion (Fiona Apple), and Roger Fife among others. Chris is currently working at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts as well as Freelancing with some very talented artists.

As a creative drummer Chris plays all styles of music (ie. Rock, Reggae, Jazz, Latin, Brazilian, Pop, Afro, and Solo drumming) and has released many offerings as both a leader and a sideman. Chris has among others performed on WXPN’s (Philadelphia) “World Cafe”, WDST’s (Woodstock) “Sessions”, and performed for the Armed Forces USO Tour in the Middle East.

Well, Chris, I admire your resume writing ability. The fact is, most people here ARE drummers, so we wouldn't NEED a drummer. Good luck though.....

I was high and I read that whole thing that guy wrote, which, seemed like at least an hour when your blazed, and then I read your post. TOok like 5 seconds to kick in but I let out a huuuge burst of laughter and my parents are all weird now.
