I love Dragonforce, I have two Dragonforce t-shirts, and I saw them live a month ago, they nail it perfectly live, and they're so entertaining its not even funny.

I find it strange that people say 'Oh Dragonforce, typical power metal', when they are in no way typical power metal. No power metal band is that fast at all.

And yeah, HeLLmO, the cheesiness is what makes them so great. They don't take themselves seriously at all though.

Many don't, but its the fantasy theme that makes up power metal. Most power metal is like Heavy Metal but with double bass and cheese.

I saw them live cause my friend had a spare ticket cause his friend bailed, they're a stunning live act. And Totman and Li are the best shredders I've ever seen. Not wishing to provoke the old Licks VS Feel debate here but they really are something else.

If you're into well-harnessed instrumental virtuosity then these are your guys.

And yeah I can't get enough of that solo section :cool:
