Yes, that's right. This thread is to discuss the greatness of the game franchise that is Mario.

Not technically a Mario game, but Yoshi's Island is one of my favourite ever games. The Mario game with the good graphics was always a really fun game to play. Super Mario 4, or some special edition of 3 or something, I forget.

I'd say Super Mario World for SNES is one of my favorites. I was always so amazed at all the little secrets and stuff in the game.

2 can barely even be considered a Mario game, it's completely unrelated to all of the others games, other then the title and a few characters. Anyway, Super Mario World was my favorite.

i love Mario. I got a few of his games for my GB advanced.
Super Mario 64 was the best, far and away, followed by Super Mario World.
Sunshine is also a good game if you want to get all of the Sprites... but you can beat it with less than 70 Sprites, which is kind of lame.

Super Mario Bros. 3 was my personal favorite. I loved the racoon tail that you fly and the Tanooki suit.

I wish I can go back in time, back to the days of Super Nintendo, and just play mario all stars (the one with multiple mario games).

Super Mario 64 was cool, but so was Mario Kart 64.

I don't know if this counts or not, but Super Mario Land 3: Wario's Land, was awesome too. I collected all of the treasure items. :cool:

That game deserved the 5/10 it got from Edge.
My favourite Mario game is probably SMB3, followed by SMW, Sunshine, 64, and Yoshi's Island.
Mario rules my favourite games are:
Paper mario
Super Mario World (the snes one)
Mario 64
Mario Kart (snes and 64)
Some of my proudest gaming achievements were collecting all the stars in 64 and fully completing SMW all coins exits etc... and that was before internet access so i had to do it all by myself.
And thankyou Nintendo for re-releasing 64 on the DS and SMW in the gba i got to do it all again but this time on a bus.

Wow, I forgot about Paper Mario.
I played through most of Paper Mario a few months ago, but then got bored at the very end and quit. Maybe I'll hook my N64 up finish it sometime.

Paper Mario and Super Mario 64 are my favorites.
I'm not too much of a fan of Mario nowadays.

paper mario was awesome, albeit easy. (if i can beat a game - it is automatically dubbed easy. or super easy.)
i adore the mario games - they're so classic.
you'd be hard pressed to find somebody out there that hates mario kart.
mario party gets me frustrated because there's a lot of waiting involved... and i can't beat the fish carrying minigame damnit.
mario for gameboy is awesome too. 6 golden coins. that game pretty much sums up my entire childhood.
