I sware this sites changes once a week lmao

anyways...

I have added yet another thing to my drums...I thought the LEDs would look sweet under some fog so I got a mini 400W fogger from musiciansfriend.com and I must say this is the best product for its price.

I would say if you are looking for one at a low price get this one as it's cheap and puts out allot of smoke.

The only thing I don't like about it is that the smoke is cheap and burns with the scent of oil.....Well that's basically what it is.....Anyways I'm going to get some better stuff that smells good and will last in the air longer.

I got a new power strip and now I can plug in the strobe light....heat/color light...module...and fogger

Pics can be seen here (http://photobucket.com/albums/y22/moody07747/Music/E-Drum%20Fogger/?multi=1&addtype=)

I mounted the remote on the drum stand at my right next to the 14 inch tom drum which is my floor drum until I add another drum in there somewhere...

Tomorrow I'm going to weld a bolt to the bottom of that bar so I can adjust the position of the fogger better...I just put it there with wire for now.

---edit---

I just added a foot switch to the unit....There was plenty of room in the controller so I put a 1/4" mono audio jack in there and plugged in an old sustain pedal...The foot switch was then placed next to my hi-hat pedal.

Seems to be working really well so far.

Now the unit is a one of a kind....I have yet to see a fogger with a foot switch so its selling price should go up.

Edit 2:

some smoke from the machine from a 3 second run

A warning to anyone with one of these foggers.....don’t put it anywhere near any of those older smoke detectors or any carpet

it set off my detector at the top of the basement stairs as I was airing the basement out but I had the door up at the top closed so it started to gather in there I guess

after I while I had to wire something up so I went under the drums and noticed something on the carpet....turns out the oil from the fogger gathered on parts of my drums and mostly on the carpet.....get the paper towels to it and cleaned it as best I could....

Anyways I had it mounted under the snare height so keep yours up around 3 feet from the ground

As for the smell of the fog...im used to it and it smells good for some reason but I have some vanilla scent on the way for it

Awesome. Are you Weldman from Drumshed? If so, I lerk there and I've learnt a lot from you, I'm planning to do something similar, although I might buy a DTXPress III, if I can.
