Alright, well i have been playing drums for about two years self taught and my set up currently is:
Pacific Drums, 5 piece
Zilgian ZBT'S :(
16' crash
18' crash
20' ride
14' hi hats
im only 13 years old though so i dont really have enough money to buy new gear or anything...which makes me mad cuz i really want to get new cymbals, even a whole new drumset would be awesome
Check out the band im in and tell me what you think of my playing for age 13 (self taught for two years) i havent had lessons or anything. http://purevolume.com/rememberingtomorrowwashington
in our picture im the one in the middle if you wanted to know, and yes i did mess up in our song and it was a stupid mistake that i would usually never make so check it out anyway and try not to mention it haha

Yea pretty good pretty good. A little er, hesitant on the whole part, but I would just say, keep it up because that's good for being two years self taught. Oh and work on tempo.
PS-isn't Bremerton where MxPx is from???

the first song was good for a self thaught 13 years old kid, the second was like mmmm not good, the last one i think the best of the two you owned the song. anyway your guitar man sucks, and you should take some lessons, i was self taught for like 2 years and a half, and i've been taking lesson for like almost a year and i learned lots of thing, f.e. i didn't know drummers must keep the beat before last march, yeah it sucked.

Not Bad, for self Taught, then again Im 3 years self taaught, and I picked up on basically all your beats right away lol, you just did the same basic bass and snare beats on the Hi hats and ride, mix it up some lol. then again your still pretty decent.

Well the recording quality isn't the best. Don't take offence, my band used to sound the same. What are you guys recording on?
Other than that, the drumming isn't bad for being 2 years self-taught. I would work on synching it up better though, seems like the guitar isn't exactly on with the drums.

not bad..
i would suggest lessons though. ive been playing for 1 3/4 years and its helped put more timing and diversity in to my drumming, it shortens the time it takes to learn all that stuff by alot
