I know it hasn't been long since I've posted pics of my set, but since you saw it last it has changed some. I would like to start of the exhibit with a picture of my 14 Inch Vintage K Crash, made in the Zildjian Factory in Istanbul. I would like people to see if it's in good condition and what I can do to it, It's going to be stored in my cymbal bag, but I just want to preserve it and cherish it. I love this cymbal.

The top part.

The bottom part. I don't know what keyholing looks like, and I hope theres none displayed. I don't know what that vomit looking stuff is, It might be paper ( like the price sticker ) but since it was made so long ago, my theory might be a little wack. Any thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It looks like a nice cymbal. That one spot on the underside of the bell looks like some sort of tape residue?

Ahh yes possibly. I have to figure out how to get it off. Phil said use some vodka or petrol, Hmmm. I'm still scared at the thought.
On further investigation, Berk you are correct, the whole undrside is sorta scarred with tape, and i'm guessing the white stuff is the residue. Thanks

You guys are two kind. Yes massive tom rolls are fun, but in the end, I feel the most comfortable without being surrounded by a buncha wood.

It is man ! Insane, wicked crash, yet a very nice ride. The bell is very nice, Not to be used as a main crash/ride but my set up is very.. unconventional ( took phil's word )

Soccer kicks *** ! My soccer rug is a bit small though ( imagine that .. two small for my set ) Too bad all my school mates think it sucks, I hate all the kids at school. Yeah that's what I thought about my crash, and belive is true. Thanks bout the Crash. Expensive but hella worth it.

nice kit.
as for the tape residue, nail polish remover works like a charm. put a little on a towel and then rub untill it comes off.

K thanks. I'm still looking for the least chemical and industrial way to do it, so far I'm digging the vodka idea ;).

No keyholing, keyholing is when the hole is in a ovalish shape due to the cymbal being heavier on one side than the other. Dont worry all cymbals have a heavier side because they are hand hammered and the whole cymbal isnt "perfectly" hammered so any cymbal may keyhole in time.

Awesome, That's reashuring. It probably won't because I won't play it for a long time.

It's Stolinchnya. It's Russian. Your right, but my parents don't drink it. My dad drinks wine. Plus we have like a gallon. ( No seriously, it's like a milk carton, and it's plastic. )

10x2 ... It's a pandiero, Just a tamborine with a head really, not much of a tom. It's very very nice.
To AZN Rice.. My next kit will be a double bass with two dementions on each bass, with the snare and tamborito ( maybe another tom as a rack... ) But my Orions are a long ways away ;). Thanks everybody much appreciated. Maybe I could pull a johnny rabb and go with another snare, I have to learn to play as fast as him and do a one handed role.
